I've started using My Plate at Live Strong to track my eating and I LOVE it. It makes it so easy to keep track of everything, especially since there's an app for it so I can use my iPod to record what I eat when I'm not at my computer. :)

Hey guys. I don’t have any new scrap stuff this week, but I thought I’d write a post up anyway. I haven’t done anything fun on here for a while, so maybe I should do a random giveaway? 
A couple of weeks ago I was browsing through Etsy looking for rings in my size (I have fat sausage fingers and finding cute girly rings for them is… difficult) and I came across JJ’s Jewelry112605. She does these really cute wire wrapped rings and earrings! I’m really into cute, casual jewelry as I’m a pretty low-maintenance kind of girl and just like a little bit of bling. 
So anyway, I bought a couple of rings and this is my favorite!
It’s pink jade and sterling silver wire and it looks so sweet on my hand. I just love it. The picture just doesn’t do it justice! And the pink looks pretty bright there in the sun, but it’s not really that bright in normal light, it’s actually pretty subtle.

My favorite thing about summer is long days and picnics!
I love having a garden in the summer. We are just starting to get the tomatoes, beans, and peppers. I love planting seeds and watching them grow.
My favourite thing about summer (which in Australia is very long and hot) is blowing bubbles in the yard, with my four wonderful children, in the late afternoon when the heat of the day is starting to abate. We watch them float off into the sky, reflecting the colours of the gradually setting sun………Magical!
Kinda silly, but I love summer only because it means that fall is right around corner and fall is my favorite, really.
My favourite thing about summer is sleeping late and lounging around with the kids in the mornings!
So pretty. I love long summer days when the sun doesn’t go down until well past 9:00. It should be like that year round!

What a cute ring. My favorite things about summer are the butterflies and especially the hummingbirds that arrive to buzz around our butterfly bushes. They are like little jewels filling the air.
