I've started using My Plate at Live Strong to track my eating and I LOVE it. It makes it so easy to keep track of everything, especially since there's an app for it so I can use my iPod to record what I eat when I'm not at my computer. :)
Bliss Revisited
Wow, it’s been a busy week! Where did the time go? I’ve been spending most of my design time working on a new grab bag I’m getting ready for the last week of the month (just in time for Black Friday!), but I also managed to revamp a kit I retired not long ago. Bliss was one of my first kits and I really loved it, but it seriously needed updating. So the colors are the same, but the papers, elements, and alpha are all brand new. I just got it into the store and it’s 20% off until Sunday night! (Click the image for product details.)

First let me say that that’s a beautiful kit! The colors are vibrant yet soft. I don’t believe I’ve seen the original version, but I’m sure this one outdoes it
My plans for the weekend you ask? Well… tomorrow (Friday the 14th) is my 37th birthday! I’m not so excited about it, though, as I’ll be turning 37
I know, I know, it’s not THAT old, but it’s entirely too close to 40 for my liking.. lol
Anyway, I believe my husband has some plans for us, like dinner and maybe a movie, although the movie will most likely be at home since I already made him go see The Duchess with me… tee hee! Of course, I MUST have cake and it MUST have buttercream frosting! What’s a birthday without cake, right? Indeed! And I wouldn’t swear on it but I’m almost positive he got me a new Xbox game I’ve been wanting but couldn’t justify spending the money on. Yes, I’m a closet gamer… shhh!
We will also be having my step-son here for the weekend, and that’s always a trip.. lol. I think that about covers my plans

Oh, beautiful kit! I’m going to a ladies retreat this weekend! I go every year in Texas, but missed the Texas one this year because I was having a baby!
So, this one is in Arkansas. I really look forward to it all year long and walk away so refreshed. My only daughter and my little nursling are going with me this time. We are honestly looking forward to the 5 hour drive too – and I packed my camera to capture lots of memories.

My day is starting by praying from 11-12 for the ladies who are on a retreat from my church.
My baby sister opened a frozen custard business and I am going to volunteer and help her out making and delivering items to a soccer place. Later we are going out to dinner and then to a free concert given by our favorite Christian singer, David Kauffman. If you want to hear some great music, Google his site and take a listen!
Church on Sunday is my only other plan.
What a gorgeous kit! The sticker flowers and the flourish caught my eye straight away and the heart clip is just too divine. Terrific colour palette too with a great range of shades.
This weekend I am going to catch up with some zzz’s, do some scrapping, some washing, some scrapping, some cleaning and then probably some more scrapping (I’d much rather scrap than clean but have to put in a token effort occasionally).
I will try to catch up with my nephew who is visiting from interstate. I haven’t seen him for several years so there will be a lot to chat about.
Then back to work on Monday for another five days of fun and excitement
before I get to do the weekend thing all over again!
Ohhhh I love the revamp of Bliss! This weekend we are going to the SIL’s for a BBQ dinner, and after that, we’re going to a friends for an hour or two and picking out a new kitten
Sunday will be washing, washing, and more washing LOL With 4 children (well, 5 if you include DH), it never ends! I hope YOU have a wonderful weekend!

My plans for the weekend don’t seem too terribly exciting to me right now. Tomorrow I have to drop off my hubby at the airport so that he can fly down to SLC for Drill (he’s in the Army Reserves). It takes a little over two hours to get to the airport, our 1 year old son has to come too because Grandma can’t watch him, and I’m sad he’s leaving so soon after just getting home from Basic and AIT! But at least he’ll only be gone until Sunday night, when I’ll have to drive back to pick him up.
During the time he’s gone I’ll probably be spending most of my time on my laptop as usual, learning more about PSE 6 and playing around with my pictures and digi-scrapping stuff. I’m new to the digi-scrapping world and so far I am just loving it! It’s addicting and I love downloading stuff! I’m a big fan of yours and I’ve even linked you on my new digi-scrap blog! ^.^

My weekend will br crazy as normal…hubby has to work thru coz we have a guy down with a broken foot. My 15mth DS is teething (Yup we all know what means!! Pain for Mum too!). I have to get a heap of stuff ready for my DD 8th bday next week. We have our local Spring Festival to take the kids to and my DD is doing a belly dancing performance there. Then in between that I need to try to keep house and catch up on some paperwork for our business. That means I will be around the puter from 1-2am scrapping coz thats the time I get alone lol!!

Weekend plans: Ughh… I decided to work nights for the holidays to help pay for xmas so I work Friday night from 10pm-2am. As my DH said, those are my prime scrapping hours, how can I survive? Saturday I decided we are having a yard sale. We just bought a new dining room table and need to sell our old corner bench set. Might as well clean out the kids room to make space for ALL those gifts that gramma buys. Sunday… FOOTBALL. I scrap and watch football all day – Go Chargers! I play fantasy football with my DH, FIL and BIL so it gets pretty exciting around the house. It is supposed to be in the 90′s this weekend so it’ll be nice.

As for the weekend we are going away to Monterey for Friday night. This was a rough week for us, I had a miscarriage on Monday (at 18 weeks) so this whole week has just been family time for us. So we plan on finishing off the week with a one night getaway – I just hope I am not biting off more than I can chew by going away! I will still be off work next week to spend time with the girls and get more scrapbooking done.
i always look forward to every weekend. after days of work, i can find joy in the thought that i can do my scrapping to my hearts desire over the weekend. i just love scrapping and definitely would be a great joy to be able to scrap with this gorgeous revamped kit.
Normally I wouldn’t beg for a chance to win a pink kit, but my niece was born this week, and my boy stash just won’t do for her sweet little self! I definitely don’t have enough girly kits in my collection.
As for the weekend, I live 2 miles away from the NASCAR track, but I’m afraid I’ll just have to listen to the cars go round and round as I haven’t been able to get my grubby little hands on any tickets. There is also a festival this weekend that I might head over to. And if nothing else, my DS’s table and chairs STILL needs to be stained.

Saturday, I’m going to try to participate in a couple of forum challenges and also start some holiday shopping. My plans for the weekend, actually the next four days, are to travel to New Hampshire with my daughter and 14 month old grandson to do a bit of Christmas shopping in North Conway. I am so looking forward to spending some quality time with my daughter and to play with the baby!

Hmm… this weekend? Well, my husband is traveling for business and has been gone for the last two weeks and won’t be back until late next week… my son is teething… I think it will be a quiet weekend, haven’t had one of those in a long time. This weekend I’ll be taking my 5 yo daughter to 2 birthday pool parties – one on Saturday for a set of twins and one on Sunday for a kindy class mate. By the way I’m in Australia so things are starting to heat up down here and our weather forecast is 28 & 30 degrees celcius for both days so perfect pool party weather! I’m also looking forward to spending time with my husband on Sunday – he’s had a very big week and he’ll have worked 70 hours by then (not the usual for him), so looking forward to just hanging out and relaxing with him – hopefully he won’t fall asleep!!! Absolutely beautiful kit, Ellie. I love the colors. If it’s not raining here we’re planning on taking our two kids (4 and 5) to a local amusement park. My husband has a rare weekend off, so I’m really looking forward to some familyt time! If it ends up raining (it is right now, so not sure about tomorrow) we’ll probably just rent some movies, make some popcorn, and enjoy our family time at home. Nothing big, but just enjoying spending time together.

DD and I are going to my mothers home this evening to scrap with her and my SIL. I’ve been in a creative slump, so my focus tonight will be to use some of the hundreds of beautiful quick pages I have accumulated over the last year. There are some truly great talented and generous designers and scrappers out there!
Then tomorrow I am going outlet shopping with some girlfriends – can you say Christmas shopping?! HoHoHo!
Sunday will probably just be catching up on all the housework I’ll be blowing off for the next two days. It’ll be worth it though!

I don’t have much fun planned for this weekend. Tonight I’m staying home with the kids while my husband takes our 7 year old son out for a daddy-son activity. My blissful weekend will probably start off snuggling with my hubby who’s been gone hunting since Wednesday, then finally getting a long overdue haircut at 7:30 AM Saturday morning (who likes to sleep in anyway??? ME!!), then painting the new cabinets for our bathroom redo on Saturday afternoon – maybe we’ll get the toilet put back in there too – Happy Happy Joy Joy!! Sunday is church day and visiting mom-in-law at the assisted living that afternoon then back to church for evening service. Then it’s time for Monday and work again – Where DID that blissful weekend go????
