I've started using My Plate at Live Strong to track my eating and I LOVE it. It makes it so easy to keep track of everything, especially since there's an app for it so I can use my iPod to record what I eat when I'm not at my computer. :)
I Love My Mom
It’s Mother’s Day and I hope that if you are a mother that you are having a great day. Even if you aren’t a mother, I hope you are having a great day! See, I’m nice like that! 
lol
I don’t post very many personal things on my blog because I am a rather private person, but in the spirit of Mother’s Day I want to share a little about my own mom, especially because I know she reads my blog and will see this!
Here are some random facts about this wonderful woman:
- Her name is Jane, but she is anything but plain!
- She has paper scrapped as long as I can remember.
- She made the move to digital when I started designing. lol
- Her second favorite designer is Flergs. I’m her first favorite, but I’m pretty sure that’s only because I’m her daughter. LOL
- She sings constantly. She doesn’t even know she’s doing it. My brothers and I like to sing little pieces of songs around her just to see if she will start singing them, too, without realizing it. She always does, without fail. lol
- I got my love of books from her.
- She is a teacher.
- She was my first friend and is still my best friend.
- She calls me every single day and we talk for at least an hour.
- She loves cats, but my dad will only let her have one. lol
- She drew the angels in my Kitchen Angels kit.
- She used to design rubber stamps for Inkadinkado.
- She calls every baby she meets, “Sugar” and they always smile at her.
- She is the most kind hearted, beautiful, talented person I know.
- If I am even half the mom she was, then I will count myself a success.

I got excited after reading that your mom used to design rubber stamps for Inkadinkado. That company is still my all-time favorite rubber stamp company and I’m sure I have some of your mom’s designs in my (very large) rubber stamp stash.
