Before I say anything else, I’m really sorry if you happened to get two or more copies of my newsletter. I promise I’m not trying to bully you into buying my stuff. For some reason the NEW newsletter program I’m using is giving me fits and sending out two of everything. I’ll get it fixed this week and in the meantime I apologize for the duplicates.

This is one of those kits that started out as one thing and then morphed into something else entirely. You know how it is, you think to yourself, “Oh a couple of birds would look cute in this,” so you add the birds, then you decide a cat would be cute, then maybe a dog, a tree, some flowers, and before you know it it’s full of your favorite things and there’s nothing to help it, you’ve got to call it My Favorite Things! What, that never happens to you??? Hmm… lol Well, anyway, that’s what happened to me.

So (finally) here’s the kit and the cluster frames:

And I also have some commercial use OK brushes (they come as png files, too). They are swirls that you can create your own flourishes with and I love them! I just love flourishes in general, but I really love that I can use these to make all different combinations of flourishes. I’m working on another set right now, too. These are on sale as well this weekend for 30% off.

And you guys know that I very rarely get a chance to scrap, but I found some time earlier this week and made a layout using Anne Quade’s – Fishbowl Designs – new kit, Just Greens. I think it turned out pretty darn cute. Not that I can take much credit for it because I also used NeeNee’s templates. You know NeeNee? She’s awesome, I love her. Anyway, I CAN take credit for the cute baby. I did make him myself (I suppose I had help there, too, though). Let me just show you the layout already. lol

And now I better go to bed, because I obviously need sleep and will probably be embarrassed by this post in the morning.

So I’ve gotten a few emails since I retired about selling my doodles as Commercial Use and I’ve been thinking about it. I don’t think I will bring back the sets I retired, but I have been working on a few new sets and converting some of my old graphics to CU. I don’t know if there is any interest, but if there is I’d love to know what kinds of doodles/clipart you are interested in.

I just converted my Rawr! dinosaurs. They come as layered psds, png doodles, and also bonus completed graphics. (Click the preview for more info.)

Thanksgiving Word Doodles

Thanks to all who answered my question about dressing kids alike for photos. We ended up dressing them similarly, but in different colors, but there was a mix-up with the scheduling so they ended up not having their photos taken afterall! Oh well!

I have a little freebie for you. Just some doodled words for Thanksgiving. The come both colored and plain.

HI everyone! It’s been a busy couple of weeks and is just going to keep getting busier! My parents are here visiting from Hawaii and I’ve been having a wonderful time hanging out with them. I did manage to get a couple of new things into the store this week…

And my husband just started selling at Digital Candy! We had been talking about selling my doodles and stuff commercially, but I didn’t want the bother of going through and cleaning everything up and making it CU ready (plus I don’t have the time!), so he told me that he would do it and sell them himself. Basically, I just handed all of my raw material over to him and he cleaned it up and made it into nice clean pngs, abr brushes, and (some) templates! They are for both personal and commercial use. You can check out his shop HERE. And his blog HERE. I expect he’ll be coming up with some of his very own stuff soon as well!

New Stuff & A Freebie

I know it’s the middle of winter and is cold in a lot of places, but I’ve been thinking of the ocean a lot lately. Maybe because my family is in Hawaii and I miss them a lot right now. Anyway, I created a new kit with thoughts of the ocean and sea creatures! It’s filled with mermaids and lots of other fun animals like a dolphin, an octopus, turtles, seahorses, etc! It was so incredibly fun to make.

It’s in my shop now and is 20% off until Sunday night.
