Grab Bag, New Kits, Guest Spot!
Wow, July has just begun but it’s already started as one of the busiest months this year for me! I have a lot of new stuff this weekend, including a new grab bag and a guest spot at one of my favorite stores. This grab bag has six new items. They will only be available through the grab bag and will be retired at the end of the month. If you want to see what’s inside beforehand check out the product page – there are previews of everything in the extra images. Just $3!
I also have a new kit called Goodnight Bedbugs! It’s got all kinds of cute little bugs with great big eyes in it! Just drawing them made me laugh! There are a few extra items that have been put together in a bundle, too. The kit and extra items (word art, styles, and extra bugs) are all 30% off this weekend, but you can save 40% by purchasing the bundle.
Here are some layouts by my awesome creative team (and Anne Quade of Fishbowl Designs)!

So that’s what’s going on at Sunshine Studio, but this month I’m also a guest at…

I’m so excited! I love ScrapMatters. I sold there way back in the beginning and I just adored everyone there. I’m really pleased to be getting a chance to go back for a bit. To open the month with I created a kit in honor of the Fourth of July. It (and all of the extras – word art, frame clusters, solid papers, styles, and extra alphas) are on sale this weekend for 30% off, but if you buy the bundle you can save 46%! Check it out!

Oh my goodness, that was a lot of images! If you’re still with me, thank you!
Now go on and have a wonderful and safe weekend! And Happy Independence Day to all you fellow Americans out there!
Visual Legacies (& a Freebie)
Hi everyone! I normally don’t post much about my children, but I wanted to show some photos that I received today. About a year or so ago I met a wonderful lady online named Larissa. She’s a photographer and recently we got together and she took some photos of my boys. She was so awesome with them and she got some really great photos! Here are a few of my favorites…

Didn’t they turn out great?! If you’re in or around Mesa, AZ and want to have some photos done, I would totally recommend Larissa! Check out her site: Visual Legacies
I also have some holiday gift tags for you!
Thanks for stopping by!
To those of you who celebrate it, have a wonderful Thanksgiving. To those who don’t, have a super weekend!

Thanksgiving Word Doodles
Thanks to all who answered my question about dressing kids alike for photos. We ended up dressing them similarly, but in different colors, but there was a mix-up with the scheduling so they ended up not having their photos taken afterall! Oh well!
I have a little freebie for you. Just some doodled words for Thanksgiving. The come both colored and plain.
Have a wonderful rest-of-the-week!

Boo! Treat Bag Toppers
Let me start off by saying that I am no hybrid expert, so I wanted to start out simple. Very simple! So I made these cute little treat bag toppers and they turned out really cute. My little boys just turned three and are in preschool now so later in the month I’m going to send some treats to school with them for their classmates, but I wanted to try them out now to be sure they printed out right and everything. And they did! Anyway, I made them with my Boo! Halloween kit. I’ve included them with Happy Halloween on them, but also blank in case you want to put something else instead. Once you cut them out and fold them they measure approximately 3.5″x2.25″. I’m using them with 3.5″x7.5″ polypropylene (cello) bags, they fit very nicely.
