Hello everyone! Melanie here and sooo sorry about yesterday! Thank you Tracy for helping me out! My daughter is doing better today! Craziest thing, I took her to the doctor around 11am yesterday and he said everything was viral and then her fever spiked to 103 by late afternoon so I ran her back to the doctor and he checked her again and she had an ear infection! 5 hour difference! I’ve had them appear within a day or two of being checked but never hours!!! So then he checked the baby, just because he was there with me, he had a double ear infection and the poor baby never even acted like anything was wrong except for maybe the symptoms of teething! Anyway, not to bore you with specifics, but I appreciate your kind words and your understanding!!!

Today’s trend that I wanted to talk about is one of my absolute favorites, it’s like the frosting on the cake! Flouishes and Swirls. I love adding them to my layouts! They seem to just add so much to the page. A flourish is perfect for filling in that empty spot that just needs a little something! I also love wrapping flourishes or swirls around frames or alphas like I have here in my ‘A baby fills…’ layout using Ellie’s ‘Luke’ kit, one of my all time favorites…

Or having one peek out from a picture, or adding to a cluster like I have done here in my ‘Smile’ layout using Ellie’s ‘My Girl’ kit.
