Have I mentioned lately how wonderful my CT is?  No?  Well, they are.  They are so fabulous I can’t believe how lucky I am!  And now they have their own blog (and their own name!  How cute is Ellie’s Angels???) and are going to be doing lots of fun things over there!  Tracy and Melanie (sassypixie) have been working so hard on getting their blog up and going and I am SO excited to see what they have in store!  There are going to be freebies, along with weekly challenges and RAKS!  So stop by and check them out tomorrow (Friday).  And don’t forget to bookmark them!  lol

Well.  I can’t believe I’m actually finding some time to post on my blog!  Why is it that when life gets crazy my blog is always the first thing to suffer?  (I mean, after my body and my mind, that is.  lol)  Poor neglected blog!  But I’m back now and things are really going to calm down for me (hopefully!!!) in just a few days!

My parents were here for a visit andsince they came all the way from Hawaii and I only get to see them once or twice a year I wanted to spend as much time with them as possible.  My dad is retiring in 18 months and they want to buy a house here so we went house hunting.  They didn’t find anything just right, so they’ll look again the next time they’re back.  I can’t wait.  It will be SO nice to have them nearby!  It was a lovely visit and I’m really going to miss them.  They flew up to Utah today to spend a few days with my brother but will be back to spend another day with us before flying back to Hawaii.  *sigh*  I miss my parents so much.  I’m such a big baby!  lol

In big news, ScrapMatters is having their Grand Re-Opening this weekend, starting Friday (08-08-08)!!!  The site got completely revamped and looks gorgeous, I can’t wait for you all to see it!  And there are lots of fun things planned for this weekend, including a sale and… grab bags!!!  I am scared to death of doing a grab bag and having people hate it, but I got one finished anyway and it will be ready to go on Friday.   Cross your fingers for me, will you?  I don’t want to be roasted and toasted on the blogs!  LOL

I have a couple of other great surprises, but I can’t share everything right now, because I’m really tired and I know I’ll leave something important out.  LOL  So come back later and see what I, along with my AMAZING CT, have up our sleeves!

And thanks for not deserting me while I was gone.  I don’t deserve you!

My parents are here visiting and have decided to buy a house while they’re here, so we are spending a lot of time out and about looking at houses and furniture.  So my blog will probably be pretty quiet until next Wednesday.  I have a couple of new things for the store this week and am going to try really hard to get them packaged up by this evening for release tomorrow.  Cross your fingers for me, would you?  lol

I’ve been such a slacker about posting lately, I feel terrible!  Especially when my CT has been working so hard making such beautiful things with my designs!  So let me share some of what they’ve been up to!  (Click the images to leave them some love!)

I am SO in love with this layout by Jeannette using my Saturday Afternoon Romance kit!  Isn’t it just beautiful?  It’s the kind of layout I love, but could never scrap because I’m just not that talented!  LOL  Thank heaven for talented CT girls!

Here’s a fun layout (check out that selective coloring!) by Aly.  It looks SO summery I can almost taste the watermelon!  She used pieces of Mango Tango and Vicky’s Summer Vacation.

This next one is from Lori using Scatter Sunshine.  I just love the simplicity of it.  The photos totally take center stage (as they should, they are adorable!) and I love how she used the theme of three for the entire layout.  Beautiful!

Tracy create this LO using Summer Lovin’ at a ScrapMatters speed scrap!  Can you believe she made it in only an hour??  lol  I love it, it turned out beautifully!

Next is a layout by Sassypixie, again using Summer Lovin’!  The photo fits so perfectly with the theme of the kit, doesn’t it?  I love the cluster of flowers off to the side and all of her layering is just beautiful!

Last, but definitely not least, is this super sweet layout by Mellisa.  I swear, I cried when I saw it for the first time.  You know me, any kind of longing for babies tugs at my heartstrings!  She used Dulcet to create this, along with my Ancient Love Letters alpha.   I love her title!  Just plain awesome!

And I have a little freebie for you!  I’m embarrassed to admit that this entire month my computer has been wearing a June desktop (lol) so I decided to get a little ahead of the game and create my August wallpaper now.  And after I did I thought why not share it with you?  So, if you are in need of a desktop for August, I got you covered!  Click the size below the image to download it!

While I’m here, let me show off the layout I did at Scrap Orchard’s first ever Make It Snappy Speed Scrap!  My awesome CTM Mellisa (fairytalestudios) hosted and she did such an amazing job!  It was so fun and I’m SO pleased with how well my LO turned out!  I used Summer Lovin’ (by me and Shauna!!!) and my Stitched On alpha.  The font is Zipty Do.

I’ll be back with more Summer Lovin’ LO’s to show off tomorrow.  My CT has been hard at work and I’ve got to show you the wonderfulness that they’ve come up with!  lol  (And, yes, “wonderfulness” is a word, at least in my world!)
